For meeting location, can we please look at something on the West side occasionally? I know Jimmy has mentioned Dillons out a Wildlife World Zoo. At the last meeting there were more West siders than East Siders. Time to accommodate everyone!

For meeting location, can we please look at something on the West side occasionally? I know Jimmy has mentioned Dillons out a Wildlife World Zoo. At the last meeting there were more West siders than East Siders. Time to accommodate everyone!

We're always looking for new locations, but finding ones that agree to accommodate all of our needs is more difficult than you might think! We need:

1. Central Phoenix locations are ideal, but not necessarily required.
2. A semi-private or isolated space, if part of a larger business
3. Available for Saturday afternoons
4. Food/drink available is a nice bonus.
5. The location must be agreeable to hosting our coral auction, with cups of saltwater.
   1. This eliminates any city/county owned properties, as sales tax issues exist.
6. Seating for ~50 people.
7. Minimal cost, if any, for the club.

Number 5 is often the most difficult challenge. A lot of businesses aren't comfortable with that idea, specifically the spill potential of salt water. If we were ever to have a meeting/tour at one of the local aquariums, than outside livestock is completely off-limits due to aquatic pathogen concerns.

With all of that being said, if anyone knows of a place or have any leads, we're interested to hear them!
@sisterlimonpot is going to follow-up with Dillions.

We're happy to host more meetings at our faciality. Not really centrally located, being at i17 and Peoria Ave, but more so then some other locations.

ZERO cost to the club but seating for 50 is tough, but if we all don't mind being close, it'll work

I have an office at the 143 and 10. it’s my electrical contracting office, we have many rooms, conference rooms, kitchen, dining room, large large warehouse & larger outside drop yard where we host our foreman mtgs etc of 200 people. On the weekend there’s plenty of parking as it’s in a commercial district.
not the perfect location however could potentially work if y’all need
we also have a 10k sqft warehouse for our classic cars that could be emptied for a day in the same area

For the December frag swap, will each of us get to note our preference (LPS, Softie, SPS) so the person that has us for the swap knows what kind of frag to get? Might be a good way to know someone's preference so they don't get a type that they don't like to keep.

Maybe we explained it poorly - it's more of a white elephant exchange, in that you will blindly pick from the pile or steal from someone else who's gone before you. And, at the end, if you really end up with something you don't feel equipped to keep in your tank, I'm sure we can find someone else willing to trade!
