Help! I need these predators out of my tank asap! I had 4, I caught one about a week ago, but I have not been able to catch the other 3. I have the Nyos fish trap. I put food in there, but I really don't like it because my bigger fish go in it, and it stresses them out. I also have a longhorn cowfish and I don't want him to get stressed and nuke the tank.

Anywho, these fish pester my gobies and harass anything smaller than them. I put a small McCosker's wrasse in there, and as soon as it came out of the acclimation box, one of the cardinals attacked it. I got it out pretty quickly, but it died. They also ate all of my peppermint shrimp.

I have a ton of rock and 500 gallon system, which makes it tough, but I'm close to starting to dismantling everything to catch these killers, help!

I currently have a 300 system and when I had to get some fish out I cut some egg crate and chased the fish I want out to one side of the tank and then slipped the egg crate in between rock structures to make the area smaller. Yes I thought ahead and designed rocks with these opening allowing me to section off areas.
I will be doing the same idea in my tank upgrade soon.
I have also used that flexible needle point mesh stuff to section off tank to get fish out..
