AZ FRAG July Meeting

Location: Vivid Creative Aquatics, 2432 W Peoria Ave STE 1080, Phoenix, AZ 85029



Our next meeting is at Vivid Creative Aquatics (VCA) in Phoenix, and will take place from 2-4PM.

The agenda for this meeting:

• A Tour of VCA's production facility - check out some 3D printing in action!
• Raffle!
• Coral auction (starts around 3PM)

Any registered club member can bring their corals/frags to sell in the auction. We do ask that each member bring no more than 20 items, and they must be listed here in this thread by 6PM Friday the 21st. Please provide a line description and a starting bid. Pictures are helpful if you have them! The auction list will be compiled later and be posted by Saturday morning.

We are excited to our third AZFRAG meeting.


I'd like to put an emphasis on recruiting new membership for this meeting. I see there's an opportunity to bring in new people that may not be aware of the club and help grow membership. As such, I'm going to try and make this attractive as possible to new members.

First - we're going to do is we're going to offer one free frag to any new member that has signed up from June 1st to July 15th, and attend this meeting. Most if not all the frags are coming out of VCA office tank. I have lots of accidental frags and I need to trim back a few pieces to keep the piece in the tank.

If anyone out there is good at that sort of thing (pruning, fragging and mounting), I could definitely use the help. Or, if you have any small frags you may want to donate , we may need as few extra.



Second – I am in the process of reaching out to some of my industry friends to see if we can get any good donations for the raffle. I don't have any commitments yet - however, once I have commitments I will post them here.

Third – I will be promoting this meeting on social media. If you see only of the posts, and you are so inclined, please feel free to share. First

as usual we're going to supply some sort of light refreshments. In the past we've done pizza and mini Sub sandwiches. If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know in the comments below. We're open to almost anything.

Raffle prizes are already starting to pile up. I'll post about them either over the weekend or early next week, once i have few more vendors nailed down.

Base don what I'm seeing so far, the raffle should be a good one.
