AZ FRAG June Meeting
Sat, June 15th, 2024 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM (MST)
Location: Fate Brewing Company - Scottsdale, 1312 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257 (Scottsdale Rd & McDowell)

Our next meeting is in the "Barrel Room" at Fate Brewing Company in south Scottsdale, and will take place from 2-4PM.

The agenda for this meeting:

• Opening announcements
• Fish QT Presentation by @Waterlogged
• Raffle!
• Coral Auction

Any registered club member can attend and bring their corals/frags to sell in the auction. We do ask that each member bring no more than 20 items, and they must be listed here in this thread by 10PM Friday the 14th. Please provide a line description and a starting bid. Pictures are helpful if you have them! The auction list will be compiled later and be posted on Saturday.

So, ICP announced this week they're closing down, but still accepting samples up to July 10th. I have a bunch of prepaid tests, and I've already reserved what I can sensibly use within the next month. Here's what's left...
Up for free grabs; I'll bring them with me on Saturday, but I'll accept claims now if you'll be in attendance. 5 full tests and 2 "intro" tests available.
You will have to setup an account with them, but the process for sending in these samples is not hard.

Hi everyone, starting this meeting, I thought it would be a fun idea to start a sticker swap box at each of the meetings. As hobbyists we tend to collect stickers whether we want to or not, and I thought it would be a fun idea to do a sticker trade.

The idea is for those that have stickers to donate, can bring them in box, and then for however many you donate, you can take that many from the box (trying not to have too many duplicates in the box).

Was good seeing everyone again, Lisa and I had a great time. Thank you for the ICP test Hunter, I will get it sent off Monday morning. And a big Thank You to Kris for the quarantine presentation, I'm sure everyone left a little more knowledgeable about the benefits of QT. Looking forward to next month already.

I attached a copy of the QT Presentation, medication cliff notes and a sample QT schedule. I use the schedule as more of a starting point and make adjustments depending on the species and how the fish are progressing. I'm happy to try answer any questions.
