LPS feeding

I noticed that the goniastrea and micromussa from the last meeting really puts out feeders after the lights go out. I’ve been in the habit of feeding in the evening before lights out for a long time. I started spot feeding the new coral but they don’t respond with the lights on. Am I just wasting my time and food if they don’t get their feeders out?

You probably are, but try adding just a little bit of food first (to get the scent in the water), and then add the rest a little while later (~15 minutes) once everything has their feeders out.
