Hey all,
Does anyone currently use an apex with trident? I was looking into getting one and wanted to know what your thoughts on it are? Does it work well, any issues you’ve come across, etc.

I've used an Apex way over a decade, and I've had a Trident since they launched in 2019. I did finally do a Trident service myself at the end of last year, but I really wasn't in dire need. It's been a source of consistency for me and I haven't had any unexpected issues with it.

Ive had an apex with trident since getting my newest system wet 1/22, i like it, its fairly accurate most of the time. I still use hanna checkers once a week to test them against the trident and will calibrate using the hanna numbers. Most of the time theyre not terribly far off from each other. I also use ABC reagents as they are way more cost effective and havent seen any issues with their reagents vs. neptunes. I like the app interface they have, its fairly easy to use if your not diving deep in. And i second the support team sentiment, they are amazing and will work with you as long as needed. Im not completely up to snuff on all things tech so its good to know there is support. I will say, ensure you keep you sample line clear of sponges and sediment or it will totally it up. I had to tear the trident apart and clear all the rubber lines in order to tests to happen.
